For one thing, it allows people to see what is happening on different sides. This is shown through videos or livestreams. For example, for Ukraine, which is the victimized side in the political turmoil of the war against Russia, the people of Ukraine use social media to show the heroism of its citizens. In one video, it shows a woman standing in front of Russian soldiers, talking back to them. It can also help the other side, as well.
